According to recent data, the population of centenarians in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the number of male individuals reaching 100 has tripled from 910 to 3,100. Over the same period, the count of female centenarians increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are eager to listen to centenarians, their family or close ones, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s major happenings and developments.
