Official Mahmoud Basal announced that two dozen Palestinians were killed in the most recent 24 hours, with bombardment not stopping.
He further stated, "Not a single aid convoy have been permitted entry to urban Gaza since the conflict escalated one month ago."
"Remains are still trapped we cannot access from Israeli-held territories," he noted.
Local Testimonies of Overnight Strikes
Locals report that from 21:30 local time on yesterday until early morning, shelling and bombing hit various districts of the Gaza City.
- Shelling was directed at the southern and western zones factory district, and college neighborhood, followed by heavy fire in Tel al-Hawa.
- Later, air raids targeted al-Tuffah and the security headquarters.
- In the early hours, military aircraft attacked Tel al-Hawa, a refugee camp, and that neighborhood, while mortar fire targeted al-Nasr Street near that intersection and al-Shifa hospital.
Civilian Zones Targeted
Witnesses stated bombs targeting neighborhoods in al-Nafaq and al-Jalaa Street.
He reported that that area, al-Jalaa Street, and al-Nasr Street were among the most heavily bombarded zones through the evening.
